Making Rockets

On Monday morning we got given a 'Clue' by Room 7 at Assembly it was: cotrek.  We had to figure out what it was... it was the word: ROCKET! Then on Tuesday morning Declan launched a couple of rockets that Room 7 had made.  One went really far and another one burst into pieces in the air!
Then on Thursday some Room 7 girls came and taught us how to make our rockets so they would fly far and not blow up.

Most people gave it a go and made a rocket.  Then we had a class competition to see who's rockets flew the furtherest by launching them using the blow pipe.  We took the five rockets that went the furtherest and then it was our turn to launch them using the air compressor with Declan.  Take a look...
